The math is simple: A high demand for skilled cyber security experts and not enough supply of qualified candidates equals a world of opportunity. The (ISC)² Foundation aims to bridge this gap by providing future information security professionals with scholarships to prepare them for a rewarding career in this important field. A career in information security puts you on the front lines of this burgeoning industry, defending the safety of all those who work, study and play in our digitized world.
To invest in the education of future cybersecurity professionals with the goal of helping to fill the cybersecurity professional pipeline of tomorrow. It is not an option; it is an honor and an obligation.
The entire focus of the (ISC)² Foundation global scholarship program is to provide Women, Graduate and Undergraduate students the opportunity to continue their IA and cybersecurity studies that may otherwise be prohibitive due to the increasing costs of a degree level education. Education that is highly sought after in a field that is ever-evolving in its scope, complexity and in danger of facing a severe shortage of educated, talented and qualified cybersecurity professionals.

"Receiving the (ISC)² Foundation's Women's Scholarship has been extremely motivational and I am thankful for the opportunities I am now able to pursue. I will be able to stay on track with taking classes to finish my degrees, continue learning and performing through internships, and complete research. All of this leads to supporting advancements in a field that fuels my passion to learn how things work, create new things and use that knowledge to defend."
