The math is simple: A high demand for skilled cyber security experts and not enough supply of qualified candidates equals a world of opportunity. The (ISC)² Foundation aims to bridge this gap by providing future information security professionals with scholarships to prepare them for a rewarding career in this important field. A career in information security puts you on the front lines of this burgeoning industry, defending the safety of all those who work, study, and play in our digitized world.

"I am a university student, a father, and a farmer- an unusual combination, but one that I am proud of. I earn outstanding grades studying computer information systems full-time at Georgia State University; meanwhile, at home, I endeavor to be a positive role model for my three teen-aged daughters....
I am so appreciative of the Undergraduate Scholarship that (ISC)2 offered me this year. This additional training and preparation will put me in an excellent position to pursue my new career field in cyber security, which can potentially take me anywhere and have me working with anyone from around the world. There is no doubt that this scholarship will open doors for myself and my family that would be closed to me otherwise. Many thanks to the members and staff of (ISC)2."
